Presentation of the book: “La (r)evolució de les condicions de l'habitatge obrer durant el franquisme”

The evolution of housing and urban planning in Sant Adrià de Besòs during the Franco regime has been the subject of an exhaustive research, by the hand of researchers Manel Guàrdia and José Luis Oyón, who have consulted numerous files of works, population registers and censuses of buildings, among other documentation of the Municipal Archive of Sant Adrià de Besòs "Isabel Rojas Castroverde."

His work has been collected in a volume, published with the support of the Barcelona Provincial Council, which explains the evolution of the municipality’s residential park from the post-war paralysis to growth and speculation in the sixties and seventies. This book is a detailed study on the transformations in housing matters and their relationship with the social changes of each moment. The public presentation will be on January 27 and we will be very pleased to have your presence.
