The third issue of Architects for Architecture magazine opens the debate on the past, present and future of the mountain, and on its relationship with Barcelona and its metropolitan area through three approaches from different contexts of knowledge and reflection: historical, urban-territorial and political-social.

This debate aims to influence the opinion of citizens and professionals at a time when the future of Montjuïc is once again at stake. With a view to the year 2029 - the centenary of one of the great historic events that the mountain has hosted for the city, the 1929 International Exhibition - Barcelona and its metropolitan area are rethinking Montjuïc and its relationship with the city on an urban and interurban scale.

With the collaboration of Joan Clos and Estanislau Roca, and with Ana Moreno as moderator, we invite you to debate the new opportunities to consolidate the love for the mountain and leave aside the historical contempt.
