[POST] INDUSTRIAL LANDSCAPES: REFUNCTIONALISATION OF THE POST-INDUSTRIAL LANDSCAPE

To respond to current challenges and dynamics, the recovery of post-industrial landscapes requires the diversification of their uses and functions. The integration of productive, cultural, environmental and community activities can create dynamic spaces and give these areas a second life.

The aim of this seminar is to discuss some alternatives proposed in Spain, from the point of view of their spatiality and management, with the participation of different actors and entities involved in the process of recovery of post-industrial landscapes. With the participation of Assumpció Feliu, Eudald Serra, Pilar Biel, Saul Garreta, David Villota, Jorge Magaz, Manuel Souto, Soledad Souto, Andri Tsiouti, Ángeles Layuno and Melisa Pesoa.

The Thematic Network on (Post-) Industrial Landscapes is conceived as a scientific working infrastructure based on the exchange and complementarity of the different groups as an essential and urgent condition for the conservation, communication and management of these landscapes.
