BOOK PRESENTATION and ROUND TABLE. Foundations of urban design

Next Thursday 16 March at 1.00p.m in the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion will be the presentation of the book "Foundations of Urban Design" by Marcel Smets.

On the occasion of the new publication, the Pavilion Debates programme is hosting a debate on historical and contemporary, interpretative and design approaches to urbanity. A meeting with the author Marcel Smets (professor of urban design at KU Leuven in Belgium and Harvard Graduate School of Design) shares and contrasts his views with those of Joan Busquets (architect and urban planner and professor at GSD Harvard), Carles Crosas (architect and urban planner and professor at ETSAB-UPC) and Anna Ramos (architect and researcher and director of the Mies van der Rohe Foundation).
